India T20 World Cup Squad, The Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the 15-member squad on Tuesday which will be led by Rohit Sharma for the upcoming T20 World Cup in West Indies and the USA.

India T20 World Cup Squad, No Rahul, Shubman Gill, The BCCI has announced the Squad for the T20 World Cup which includes Virat Kohli, and Yuzvendra Chahal. Rohit Sharma will be leading a squad of 15 players, here is a bit of a surprise as Yuzvendra Chalal made a comeback in the Indian team for the World Cup and this is the maiden World Cup call for Shivam Dube. Sanju Samson and Rishab Pant are the two wicketkeepers and Hardik Pandya returns as India’s Vice-captain.

Axar Patel also gets a place to boost the spin attack and contribute with bat, Chahal, Kuldeep, and Ravindra Jadeja are also in the squad to strengthen the Spin department, Arshdeep Singh and Mohammed Siraj will help the Indian Pace attack led by Jasprit Bumrah.

BCCI also announced a list of reserve players – Shubman Gill, Rinku Singh, Avesh Khan and Khaleel Ahmed, they will also be travelling with the squad, First Batch of Indian team players are set to leave for the USA on 21st May.

India T20 World Cup Squad – This is a Key selection decision involving the wicketkeeper batsman position. Sanju Samson is phenomenal and he impressed the Indian Selection committee as both Batter and Captain for His IPL franchise Rajasthan Royals, he earned his place as second wicketkeeper batsman with Rishab Pant. Whereas tow key players are missing for the same role as wicketkeeper batsman like KL Rahul and Ishan Kishan.
However , Shubman Gill who has been leading his IPL franchise Gujrat Titans finds himself as reserve alongside Kolkata Knight Riders’s hard hitter Rinku Singh.
The T20 World Cup starts from the 2nd of June , And India’s campaign starts from June 5th against Ireland which will be played in New York.
