Inter Milan clinched the 20th Serie A title with a win over AC Milan
On Monday Inter Milan defeated their rival AC Milan and Inter Milan clinched the 20th Serie A title, the 20th time Inter Milan lifted the trophy in its history.
Francesco Acerbi and Marcus Thrum scored one goal each and set Inter Milan on their way to win the Title, but in the 80th minute Fukayo Tomori frok AC Milan scored one goal and before the final whistle both side had a player sent off as tempers flared.
Inter Milan were able to see the results, though, and when the whistle blew to end of the game as they had reached an absolute 86 points in the Seria A points table, 17 points clear of AC Milan with 5 remaining games to play in the season.
Inter Milan captain said “I told the guys, ‘we find ourselves in a situation that’s never happened before, “We needed to take advantage of this opportunity, because look around, the entire stadium is ours now.”

Full stadium was enjoying the win and Flares and fireworks were set off In the stands, Inter Milan players enjoyed the win and they danced in front of their fans. A banner was unveiled, saying in Italian: “Repeat it to the Madinnina who are the champions and who the crybabies.”
